Beyond formal qualification, experience matters as much – our senior designers have worked on hundreds of Fulham and West London kitchen projects across property types from Victorian terraces to contemporary new-builds. This breadth means they encounter most spatial and structural challenges regularly, not for the first time on your project.

Yes. From your first consultation through to sign-off, you work with a single named designer who owns your project. This matters because continuity of understanding – knowing why a decision was made six weeks ago and how it connects to a decision being made today – is fundamental to a coherent design outcome. We don’t hand projects between team members or pass you to an account manager once a sale is made. Your designer remains your point of contact until the kitchen is installed and you’re satisfied.

If a client asks for something our designers believe won’t work – a layout that creates a poor workflow, a material that won’t hold up to real use, a configuration that wastes significant space – they’ll say so and explain why. They’ll always offer an alternative that achieves the underlying goal by a better route. That said, ultimately it’s your kitchen, and if you want something we’ve advised against and understand the trade-off, we’ll build it. We just won’t stay quiet about it first.

A: Yes – and for most Fulham projects we consider a home visit essential rather than optional. Seeing a space in person reveals things that photographs and measurements alone miss: the quality of natural light at different times of day, the relationship between the kitchen and adjoining rooms, the feel of ceiling height, the position of existing structural elements. Our home survey service is free, covers all SW6 and surrounding postcodes, and typically takes 60–90 minutes. It forms the foundation of everything that follows.

Regularly, and we’re well-practised at it. If you’re mid-renovation with architect’s drawings already produced, we can work directly from those plans to develop a kitchen specification that integrates precisely with the wider building project – floor levels, ceiling heights, structural openings, service runs. We liaise directly with architects and project managers where useful, and we’re experienced at hitting the specification deadlines that renovation programmes require.
