Set on the Fulham Road, our Schmidt showroom features over 12 fully dressed kitchen displays across a range of styles – from handleless contemporary designs to more classic shaker cabinetry – all in full scale and fully operational. You can pull out every drawer, test every hinge, and work through our complete worktop sample library in a single visit.
 
There’s no script, no pressure, and no hard sell. Our designers are here to answer questions and point you in the right direction — not to steer you toward any particular product. The most useful things to bring are rough measurements of your existing kitchen space – even a hand-drawn sketch with approximate dimensions helps enormously – along with any photos of your current kitchen and any inspiration images you’ve saved. If you have architectural drawings or a floor plan from a building project, bring those too. Beyond that, just come with an open mind. Many clients arrive with a very fixed idea of what they want and leave with something better; others arrive uncertain and find the visit crystallises their thinking faster than expected. Both are completely normal.
Yes – our showroom is a short walk from Fulham Broadway station on the District line, and well served by several bus routes along the Fulham Road. If you’re driving, there is usually on-street parking available directly outside. We’re also accessible from Parsons Green station, which is one stop along the District line. If you’re coming from further afield – Chelsea, Hammersmith, Putney, or Wandsworth — the journey is typically straightforward regardless of whether you drive or use public transport. Absolutely – and we actively encourage it. We work regularly alongside architects, interior designers, and project managers, and we’re experienced at translating between a design brief and a practical kitchen specification. If your designer has specific technical requirements – flush fitting between cabinetry and structural elements, particular door overlay tolerances, custom colour matching – these are exactly the kinds of conversations our team enjoys. Just let us know when booking that you’ll be coming with your designer so we can allocate enough time and have the right person available.

Yes. If visiting the showroom isn’t convenient — whether due to distance, time constraints, or any other reason – we can conduct an initial design consultation remotely via video call. We’ll ask you to share photos of your existing space and any measurements you have, and we can walk you through our range using high-resolution imagery and rendered examples from similar projects. Remote consultations are a useful first step, though we’d always recommend a showroom visit at some point in the process to confirm your material choices in person before finalising an order.
Most clients visit two or three times before they’re ready to commit. A typical journey looks like this: a first visit to explore the range and get a feel for what’s possible; a second visit once we’ve produced an initial 3D design, to review the layout and refine material choices; and sometimes a third visit to sign off final details. There’s no fixed number – some clients with a very clear brief move quickly, while others take longer to refine. We’re happy to take as many appointments as you need to feel confident in your decision.
